Asus has announced the launch of yet another variant of the ZenFone 2 Deluxe. Called Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition, the smartphone was reportedly launch at an event in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Friday.
First reported by Asus Fanaticos (via Fonearena), the new variant comes with massive 256GB internal storage, and other specifications seem identical to the 64GB and 128GB internal storage variants. The original report gives no indication about the price and availability of Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition with 256GB storage.
To recap, the Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe comes with 4GB of RAM, a 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 SoC, 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, and a 3000mAh battery. It sports a 5.50-inch full-HD display with 72 percent screen-to-body ration. It's a dual-SIM, dual-standby 4G/ LTE smartphone that runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Asus launched the ZenFone 2 Deluxe in India earlier this month, with the 64GB internal storage variant priced at Rs. 22,999, and its 128GB variant sporting a price tag of Rs. 29,999. At the same event, Asus also unveiled the ZenFone Selfie with 16GB inbuilt storage and 2GB RAM priced at Rs. 15,999, and the 32GB variant with 3GB RAM at Rs. 17,999.
Asus also launched the ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE550KL) with 2GB of RAM and Snapdragon 410 at Rs. 9,999, the ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE550KL) with 3GB of RAM and Snapdragon 615 at Rs. 13,999, and the ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE601KL) with 6-inch full-HD display at Rs. 17,999.
