The Blaugrana coach insists the Brazilian is still part of his plans but didn't rule out the prospect of him leaving the club
Barcelona coach Luis Enrique says Dani Alves remains part of his squad "for now" but stopped short of ruling out his exit from the club. The 31-year-old has been heavily linked with a summer move amid ongoing rumours that Paris Saint-Germain are keen to lure him to Ligue 1.
However, Luis Enrique has stressed he will be happy if the Brazil international remains a part of his squad, despite not entirely dismissing the prospect of him leaving.
"Alves is a Barcelona player and a very good one," Luis Enrique stated at a press conference.
"I know him well and for now he is with Barcelona. I am delighted with his presence in the team."
Alves joined Barca from Sevilla in the summer of 2008 and has since developed into a key player at the Catalans.
The defender has made nearly 300 official appearances for Barcelona, winning four La Liga titles and two Champions League trophies during his time at Camp Nou so far.
His contract with Barcelona runs until June 2015.
