Microsoft has a trio of new Surface Pro 3 ads, and they all have the same goal: to prove Microsoft's ultra-thin tablet/laptop hybrid is better than Apple's MacBook Air.
In one of the ads, titled "Crowded," Microsoft highlights the Surface Pro 3's versatility — unlike the Air, it has a touchcreen, a pen and it converts to a tablet.
Another ad, titled "Head to Head," does a direct comparison between the two devices, while the third one emphasizes the Surface Pro 3's ports and power.
Unveiled in May 2014, the Surface Pro 3 has a 12-inch, 2160x1440 pixel display, a detachable keyboard, a pen, 4/8GB of memory, 64-512GB of storage and runs on a range of Intel Haswell dual-core processors.
It hit the U.S. June 20, and is slated to appear in 25 new countries on August 28.
